Staves of corrosion were enchanted staves that exuded acid.[1]
Description[]
Staves of corrosion were simple-looking wooden quarterstaves from 6 feet (1.8 meters) to 9 feet (2.7 meters) long. They were sometimes carved out of stout oak[1] and impeded with jade stones.[3]
Powers[]
In battle, staves of corrosion exuded acid when hitting a target.[1] Some stronger versions of the item existed, bearing potent damage and aiming enchantments.[3]
History[]
In the Year of the Griffon, 1312 DR, staves of corrosion could be found in the Icewind Dale region of northwest Faerûn.[1] Stronger versions of these items saw usage in the areas surrounding Neverwinter in the 15th century DR.[2]
