The stars of day were holy Amaunatori sun blade bastard swords seen in the late 15th century DR.[1][note 1]

Powers[]

The stars of day were blessed with holy power that easily destroyed the forces of evil, and blinding light and burning heat that made them fearsome in any situation. Three stars of day were said to far greater than the rest, one of which was Celestia, Brightest Star of Day.[1]

History[]

The servants of Amaunator brought a number of stars of day to Eveningstar to fight against the Darkening and the Sschindylryn invasion of Eveningstar. These relics found their way into the hands of various heroes, whether from Faerûn or Eberron.[1]

  1. Menace of the Underdark (including Web of Chaos) is dated to the period of 14841485 DR, as it references the ongoing Darkening. Shadowfell Conspiracy (including Disciples of Shadow, Shadow Under Thunderholme, The Druid's Deep, and The High Road of Shadows) are dated to the same period, as they are stated to take place at roughly the same time as Menace of the Underdark.
