Stormshore Street was a bow-shaped street that ran across Heapside and Brampton districts of Baldur's Gate.[2][3]
Location[]
Stormshore Street began on the northernmost part of the Gray Harbor,[3] where the Eastern Wet ran alongside the riverside docks.[1] Just a single block southeast of the street's beginning, it crossed Bindle Street[4] and moved towards the city's eastern walls, passing Sorcerous Sundries[5] and the Murl's Rest plaza in front of it.[1] Then the street took a turn and ran parallel to the eastern city walls, just one block away from them, slowly curving towards the Gray Harbor while crossing Talankar's Lane[1] and passing the Manycoins House,[3] crossing the Fox Bottom moot, Nuthkhal's Way,[1] and ending at the Stormshore Street Dock.[6][2]
Notable Locations[]
- Sorcerous Sundries, a domed magic shop located on Murl's Rest strake, owned by Halbazzer Drin in the 14th century DR.[5]
- Splurging Sturgeon, an inn and eatery that specialized in seafood in the 14th and 15th centuries DR.[3]
- Keexie Tavern, a tavern used as a front for Baldur's Gate's thieves guild in the 14th century DR, located on Stormshore Street's bend south.[7][3][6]
- Well-Adjusted Al's General Store, a 14th century general store across the street from the Low Lantern.[7][3][6]
- Low Lantern, a three-mast ship converted to be a festhall, tavern, and gambling house, permanently docked at the Stormshore Street Dock.[7][6]

Notes[]
- ↑ In the Candlekeep forum's compilation of Ed Greenwood's lore, Stormshore Street is sad to run across the city, beginning by Stormkeep. However, published maps do not have a continuous street that stretches across the city while passing through location #11 indicated in Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast. The same book also states that Stormshore Street passes Sorcerous Sundries, and, in Murder in Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus, it is stated that Low Lantern is located on Stormshore Street and a city dock that bore the same name as Stormshore Street. According to the published sources, Stormshore Street had a dramatically curved shape.
