The Strait of the Leviathan was a channel of the Trackless Sea that separated the islands of Moray and Gwynneth in the Moonshae Isles.[1][2][3][4]

Geography[]

The strait joined the Sea of Moonshae with the Trackless Sea, cutting into the heart of the Moonshae Isles from the southwest. The Strait of the Leviathan was approximately 75 miles (120 kilometers) long.[1][2][3][4]

The narrowest point of the Strait was marked by Kork Head on Moray, a hill beneath which was Kork Bay, and a headland on Gwynneth that was defined by a line of rock spires that looked liked a spine.[8][9]

Notable Locations[]

Inhabitants[]

The narrows at Kork Bay were patrolled by fire nagas as of the late 15th century DR, although many sailors dismissed their existence as mere rumor.[8]
