The Street of the Evening Star was a stone-paved road[2] running through the center of Myth Drannor, its Cormanthyr, or the City Heights districts. It curved around the Castle Cormanthor and connected the Candledance Way and the temple of Shaundakul's Throne.[1]
Description[]
This paved wide street was designed to serve as the main route for Myth Drannor's military mobilization during the times of war, evident by the street's distinctly-colored purple marble curbs. It also served as a boundary between the older wards of the City of Song and newer Sheshyrinnam and Kerradunath.[2]
Geography[]
The road of Candledance Way intersected with the Street of the Evening Star to the southeast from the Castle Cormanthor, from there, the the Evening Star gently angled around the northwestern side of the castle, and continued north until it reached the Shaundakul's Throne. After the fall of Myth Drannor in the Weeping War, the Street of the Evening Star ended is a massive pile of rubble that once were the buildings of the northern part of the city surrounding Shaundakul's temple. The Street of the Evening Star intersected with the Dragoneyes Street immediately to the north of the Caste.[1]
The Street of the Evening Star separated the Nightingale Court from the Castle cormanthor and the rest of the City Heights to the northeast, and ran past the Windrider Glade plaza.[3]
