Strongheart halflings, also known as stout halflings,[8][9] were a subrace of halflings. Unlike their kin, the stronghearts remained in their native Luiren after the Hin Ghostwar, where they became the majority of the population.[6][10]

Description

Stout halflings were moderately shorter and stockier than average halfling. They also had a greater tendency for wearing armor of all kinds.[7]

Biology

Prior to the Time of Troubles, the eyes of stout halflings were capable of seeing very well in the dark, a sense known as infravision.[7]

Combat

Like many halflings, the stout tended to fight with short bows, slings, small swords, spears, and hand axes.[5] However, they were also known to favor morningstars.[7]

Society

Languages
