These sets of armor proved regular protection on par with mundane studded leathers. Its surface was studded with metal rivets placed close together and forming a flexible layer of metal atop a layer of leather. Additionally, the wearer was able to cast the shield spell twice per day.[1]
History[]
Some of these sets of magic armor were in use circa the Year of the Griffon, 1312 DR in the Spine of the World and the Frozenfar regions of Northwest Faerûn.[1]
