Description[]

Stumble Guys 2

Don't fall, guys!

Copying the format of Fall Guys, the game has players run through different obstacle courses and survive other situations until only one winning player remains. It includes various other game modes as well. Players may purchase or win costumes and emotes for their avatars.

In the "Stumbles & Dragons" D&D game mode, there are three rounds. First, players must run through a dungeon decorated with symbols of the Cult of the Dragon, with eyes modified to those of the typical blank-eyed Stumble Guys character. They must negotiate obstacles like dart traps, swinging blades and spikes, moving platforms, kobolds, gelatinous cubes, a beholder's eye rays, and a red dragon launching a moving fiery beam, lest they fall into lava and respawn. A moving "prismatic wall" in the rear eliminates players who fall behind. This continues until a set number remain. Second, the players are in "Lava Land", where they must jump to different hexagons to escape rising lava. In the third and final level, players go through the dungeon again until only one remains as the winner. In the dungeon rounds, players are assigned a "class" with unique powers: the fighter can swing a magical axe to clear an obstacle and boost speed; a wizard may teleport to another point in the map; a rogue may jump further; and a cleric may use a holy shield to gain invulnerability to hazards. All players receive the same class, which is selected at random each round. No story or characterization is attached to this game.[1][2]

During the event, players could purchase from the in-game shop or earn through the current battle pass battle pass various D&D-themed costumes and emotes. Costumes include "The Sage" (an unnamed Elminster), Wizard of Thay, Drow Rogue, Human Bard, Dragonborn Paladin, Githyanki Fighter, Tiefling Warlock, Owlbear, Animated Armor, and more.[1][2]

Stumble Guys 3

Making human rights abuses cute again.

This collaboration is a result of D&D-owner Hasbro's dealings with the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia; the PIF wholly owns Savvy Games Group, which in turn owns Scopely. This has resulted in several other collaborations and licensing deals, including other licensed characters and game modes in Stumble Guys (such as Nerf) and other games. This was criticized by Rascal News as being part of an effort to "sportswash" or distract from negative aspects of Saudi Arabia's reputation.[3]
