Summon nature's ally IX was one of the series of summon nature's ally spells available to druidic spellcasters.[1]
Effects[]
This spell functioned just like all summon nature's ally spells, which in turn resembled the summon monster spells. It could summon a single elder elemental of any type, a grig (with a fiddle), a pixie (which favored casting Otto's irresistible dance and carried magic arrows), or a unicorn. It could also be used to summon a larger number of monsters from a lower level of a spell in the series.[1]
Components[]
The spell required a divine focus and both verbal and somatic components.[1]
