Summon nature's ally VIII was one of the series of summon nature's ally spells available to druidic spellcasters as well as those divine spellcasters with access to the animal domain.[1][2]
Effects[]
This spell functioned just like all summon nature's ally spells, which in turn resembled the summon monster spells. It could summon a single dire shark, roc, noble salamander, or elder tojanida. It could also be used to summon a larger number of monsters from a lower level of a spell in the series.[1]
Components[]
The spell required a divine focus and both verbal and somatic components.[1]
