Summon undead II, also known as Undead summoning II[3], was one of the series of summon undead spells available to arcane casters in the Realms.[1]
Effects[]
This spell could summon a heucuva, skeleton or zombie, or it could summon one to three medium-sized skeletons or the same number of small zombies, provided they were within 30 ft (9.1 m) of each other.[1] Usually, the skeleton of an owlbear or a bugbear zombie were chosen.[2] The summoned undead creatures obeyed the commands of the caster and were able to perform simple tasks.[3]
Components[]
In addition to verbal and somatic components, the spell required a material component, a piece of bone taken from a ghast, mummy or a wight. [3]
History[]
This spell was known to be used by wizards of the Cult of the Dragon.[3]
