Surrey was an apprentice blacksmith who lived in the town of Beregost during the mid−14th century DR.[1]

For a time, Surrey learned his craft under the tutelage of the famous smith, Taerom Fuiruim.[1]
History[]
When the iron crisis struck the Sword Coast, in the Year of the Banner, 1368 DR, Surrey left Beregost in search of better prospects. He traveled north to the Friendly Arm inn, en route to the great metropolis of Waterdeep.[1]
