I don't think that the (or most) Imaskari artificers should be considered as members of the artificer class but still as wizards. In their case artificer is another term for wizard, like the Netherese term arcanist. --Neshen (talk) 12:47, February 20, 2015 (UTC)

The 4e High Imaskari Artificers of Skyclave belong to the character class according to Dragon #403. They are as much politicians as creators of items however. -hash^talk 23:26, May 5, 2016 (UTC)
