Article Name Edit
I'd like to propose a swap of article titles: while an important NPC, Lord Chess gets only 11 links all in the main namespace, chess (game) gets 54 in all namespaces, 40 in the main namespace. People naturally link the game to "chess", and overlook Lord Chess. I've already corrected a bunch that were pointing to the NPC, but would like to swap them around so that the game of chess gets the "chess" article name.
However, Chess would need disambiguation. What would be preferred: "Chess (lord)", "Chess (Zhentil Keep)", or something elsewhere? In the sourcebooks, he's always "Chess", "Lord Chess", or "Chess, son of Calkontor", bar one instance of "Lord Chess Calkontor" in Ruins of Zhentil Keep that is plainly in error but which Greenwood creates an excuse for here. — BadCatMan (talk) 02:53, March 29, 2020 (UTC)
- I would go with the simplest thing, which is usually the same as the infobox name—"Chess (person)"— and only get more complicated when two things use the same infobox. —Moviesign (talk) 03:01, March 29, 2020 (UTC)
