Change of Locations[]

I would like to propose that the following locations and categories be removed from this article and its category nest:

According to page 63 of NGSF.Wild, the mountains separates the Delimbiyr Vale from the Fallen Lands. That suggests that neither area, and the locations within, are part of the vale itself.

The Dawn Pass and Seshrentor will continue to be a part of the mountains, while the Fallen Lands will just be a region of the greater Savage Frontier.

Regarding the following locations:

  • The High Moor - While NGSF lists the High Moor as part of the vale, FRCS3e page 223 lists it as part of the Western Heartlands. I can go either way on this as it seems to be right on the border. Currently it is NOT categorized with the vale.
  • Misty Forest - Same logic as the High Moor, the Misty Forest is located due west.
  • Lonely Moor - FRCS3e page 224 lists the Moor as part of the Western Heartlands as well.

Please let me know what you all think! Ruf (talk) 16:44, February 14, 2020 (UTC)

The reference given for placing the Fallen Lands in the Delimbiyr Vale is Volo's Guide to the North, p. 189, which states:
The term Delimbiyr Vale is always used to refer to the upper reaches of the River Delimbiyr (also known as the River Shining) and its tributaries. The Vale reaches from the westernmost fringes of South Wood up the river valley to its headwaters in the Nether Mountains. The High Forest is not considered part of the Vale.

So the area is defined by the river valley, of which the Fallen Lands is not part. I think that you are quite correct in removing it (and all the other proposed changes, for that matter). --Ir'revrykal (talk) 17:08, February 14, 2020 (UTC)
