Infernal Timing Question

I have a question for those more familiar with infernal lore than me: Are there any facts which allow/force us to date "The Nine Hells" article in Realms reckoning?

I am asking because this forum post by Ed Greenwood, published at the much later date of 2015, uses the name of Azharul, the Dragonspawn Pits from this article in a novel way. But the two could only be reconciled with each other (the question of treacherously shifting planar cosmologies aside for a moment) it this article would be dated as late as 1372 DR or so. Thanks!
