In all novels I’ve read that mention the language, it is referred to as “Elvish,” not “Elven.” I propose that this article be renamed. ➳Quin 05:35, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
- FRCS (and I'm pretty sure the other source books) use elven, and that's what I'm used to seeing as well, to me elvish sounds wrong, just like dwarvish (I'd say dwarven) does. 2 cents Zeraktalk 08:09, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
Dialect[]
Dragon #297, page 86, in the Elminster's Guide to the Realms article about the Talntower by Ed Greenwood, states: "Phaeraeze, an ancient elven dialect of the Sword Coast lands, gave the lands north of the River Delimbiyr a name that translates as 'land of water, rock, and tree.'" It does not say what this name was, nor anything else about the dialect. —Moviesign (talk) 13:50, July 23, 2018 (UTC)
