Well not as wrong as the other sword but: 3,7 is the heaviest sort of greatsword with most being less heavy --47.64.138.225 10:59, November 30, 2014 (UTC)

Question: Are Greatswords also called "Claymores"?--Kaidus (talk) 02:29, October 19, 2017 (UTC)
- In the real world, a claymore is a Scottish two-handed sword. The only mention in the Forgotten Realms that I could find was in Faiths & Avatars page 144 where it says that priests of Shaundakul "favor great swords, such as the two-handed sword or claymore". Dragon magazine 169 introduced a dwarven claymore, about the size of a bastard sword. I would say that claymores are a type of greatsword, but not all greatswords are claymores. —Moviesign (talk) 00:20, October 20, 2017 (UTC)
- D&D has notoriously inaccurate depictions of historical equipment but a claymore would be a greatsword in both D&D and the real world. -hashtalk 03:05, October 20, 2017 (UTC)
- One more mention of a claymore is in the trading card Kishiria, which also features a picture of one. Daranios (talk) 20:32, October 20, 2017 (UTC)
