Cleanup[]
There is just one big long block of text here—hopefully it can be subdivided in some sort of logical manner. Fw190a8 02:59, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
How?[]
Is this game still available for either Mac or PC? It looks like fun, because the Baldur's Gate game let me down. It didn't work on my computer. But heck, six discs. Nice. Cell4 17:45, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- LOL, Yes, you can still find it in bargin bins. Check the specifications on the box before you buy.Hurtzbad 04:31, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes you can still buy this game new. As of this writing, Dec. 24th 2011, DRM-free digital copies are available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit). You can purchase these from GOG.com for aprox $10USD --RoseLegion 20:33, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
Time(line)[]
Is it known when the game IWD and its Addon takes place? Are the events happening at the same time like the game Baldur's Gate, or is it earlier, or even later? Historicus 10:43, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Inconsistent Lore?[]
I'm reading the description and it mentions that Poquelin attempts to open a portal to summon Demons. All fine and dandy except Poquelin reveals himself to be a Devil and then it mentions banishing him back to the Abyss.
So I'm curious here because most fans know Devils and Demons are different and are enemies to one another. This is especially true considering the Blood War that has been part of the lore since 2nd Edition. So is there a typo in the description or is this inconsistent game lore? I'm thinking the latter considering BG2 had a few such as Bhaal's throne being in the Abyss (Bhaal is Lawful Evil so what would he being doing in a Chaotic Evil plane?)
FWIW, I know Belhifet is a Devil sicne he appears in Siege of Dragonspear.
