Measurements[]
It should be noted that for source number five, Dragon #26 - it does not in fact say quarts or pints of venom or blood. It says 'measures', and doesn't specify about the blood. Measures, in terms of brewing and serving alcohol at least, seems to be about 3/4 of an ounce, which is way less than it suggests. I can't immagine this potion coming out to nearly as much as this wiki aritcle describes.
- You'll note that source 5 is only cited for the sentence "There existed alternative recipes that disputed certain details, such as what kinds of humanoids' blood to use, how old they had to be, and whether or not they were a virgin." The amounts/volumes appear in and are cited with source 3 (Lords of Darkness 1st edition) and source 4 (a reprint of the same in Wizard's Spell Compendium Volume Four), with the original having been written by Ed Greenwood.
