Moving around[]
This used to be the "Lycanthrope" page. It's probably best to have "Lycanthrope" and "Lycanthropes" redirect here, according to Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Naming conventions (adjectives). By all means, please state any objections! Fw190a8 01:39, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree. "Lycanthropy" is not an adjective; it's a noun for the disease. This article should describe the disease, whereas "Lycanthrope" should describe the creature type. ~ Lhynard (talk) 08:10, February 2, 2019 (UTC)
- Imo, it should cover all forms (and more than just those two). "Lycanthropes are humans who can transform themselves to resemble normal animals or monsters. The condition of being a lycanthrope, often referred to as a curse, is called lycanthropy". We should probably detail the different (true, infected, induced and cursed) lycanthropes, and also detail how lycanthropes are different to antherions (i.e., jackalweres).
- Note: There are some very clear differences of what a lycanthrope is between D&D editions, as well as some odd cases / errors in between. ~ Possessed Priest (talk) 17:38, April 15, 2019 (UTC)
