"Most start as lemures, though some strong-willed souls begin their devilish afterlives as rutterkin, the next step up from a lemure"
But aren't Rutterkin Demons? not Devils? --Zale13 03:27, February 27, 2010 (UTC)
I noticed that it has main inhabitants listed as devils, but then also goes on to mention other things. My problem is that one of these is imps, which (at least in 5e) are devils. So I feel like imps should be removed from the list of inhabitants --Zerazzt (talk) 21:39, March 30, 2017 (UTC)
I have removed the note that the position of Set's realm of Ankhwugaht in Stygia is probably an error: This is established both in Realms (Powers & Pantheons) and extensively in Planescape sources (On Hallowed Ground, Planes of Law). I know of no reason given, however, for the shift between 1st and 2nd edition and Set's eccentric choice, given the climate difference. Daranios (talk) 07:01, September 10, 2018 (UTC)
- Actually, I did find a hint: Manual of the Planes 1st edition talks about Set's plans to take over all of Avernus (and more), which included construction of a massive pyramid (which is a feature in later descriptions of his realm). Maybe these plans ran afoul of the rulers of the Hells, and he was pushed out of Avernus, but that's speculation now. If anyone likes to work this into the article, that would be nice.
