Possible Date[]
Supposedly there is a tweet by Chris Perkins that says "if the novel Archmage is canonical in your campaign, the adventure would take place in 1485 DR or later." (referring to Out of the Abyss). —Moviesign (talk) 17:28, April 19, 2019 (UTC)

- The adventure is integrated with the Drizzt series in that it deals with the fallout of certain events from the later novels. Out of the Abyss is not an alternate story, it takes place in the same universe and continuity as the Drizzt series. Admittedly there seems to be some confusion regarding the dating of OotA and the Drizzt novels, but both stories do co-exist. --Ir'revrykal (talk) 10:55, August 26, 2019 (UTC)
