- While normally I would leap to agree with Andy here as I think we shouldn't split PPs/PCs from organizations unnecessarily I have to agree here. The Purple Dragons are the entire army of Cormyr, whereas the Purple Dragon Knights are an elite within that army. Think of it as the United States Army vs. the United States Army Rangers or the British Navy vs. SAS. The Knights are an elite group within the larger group of the Purple Dragons. Any joe schmoe who fights for Cormyr can be a Purple Dragon. Only very skilled warriors (often with noble titles) whose loyalty to Cormyr is unquestioned can be Purple Dragon Knights.
