Does this species really come from the 1st and 2nd edition plane of Gehenna? Someone with these reference books please confirm. It does not seem likely in 4th edition books. —Moviesign 02:26, March 24, 2012 (UTC)
- According to Draconomicon: Chromatic Dragons, they are natives of the Elemental Chaos. According to the 3.5 edition Draconomicon: The Book of Dragons, they're from the "Bleak Eternity of Gehenna." Cronje (talk ⋅ contribs) 02:53, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

- Movie, I have looked through most of the 2nd Edition Monster Compendiums... and the Draconomicon (1990) does not have these guys... I think the Draconomicon: The Book of Dragons was their first printing :) Darkwynters 03:10, March 24, 2012 (UTC)
