Does anyone know if these were also known as "dusktops"? LoI refers to dusktops, but I don't know anything else about them. ~ Lhynard (talk) 02:41, December 31, 2015 (UTC)
- It could also be a duskwood. Lands of Intrigue mentions all three types of tree, so it's hard to say which way it could go. I can't find an entry in the Candlekeep Index. I'd make an article for dusktop as a third type of tree (we can't go wrong with more articles and more trees), with a note suggesting it could be one or the other. — BadCatMan (talk) 06:10, December 31, 2015 (UTC)
- Volo's Guide to Cormyr refers to duskwoods and shadowtops in the same sentence, so those two are not the same. The jury is still out on dusktop and duskwood, but since it "dusktop" is only used once in LoI (that I can find), I say it's a typo for "duskwood". —Moviesign (talk) 06:28, December 31, 2015 (UTC)
- The Summoning refers to "the zesty scent of dusktop blossoms", indicating it's a specific type of flowering plant. The wording in LoI makes it clear dusktops are trees, however. Maybe a type of flowering tree? --Ir'revrykal (talk) 11:03, March 10, 2019 (UTC)
