- Loquasphinx - Tome of Magic 3.5
- Astrosphinx - Monstrous Compendium 9 (Spelljammer Appendix II); according to Dragon #244's Ecology article (page 87, in the footnotes), this is not actually a sphinx at all.

- Not really. That article is all speculation. It consistently says "might" throughout. The article is a bunch of suggestions, a demonstration of what a fictional DM named Stephen might do. I don't think it is right to count that article as canon at all. ~ Lhynard (talk) 23:37, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
