The Shadowking

Well the link Shadowking redirects to Telamont. But I was entering items for the Grand History of the Realms as there a reference to a Shadowking and the realm of Ebenfar in 323 DR. The reference comes from the Harper book Crypt of the Shadowking. So my questions is why does Shadowking redirect to Telamont? Lethalox 23:27, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Probably because he was revealed to also be Lord Shadow, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Shadow King was another title he was known by. But I can't remember if that's the case or not, off the top of my head. Zerak^talk 02:00, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

The Shadowking was "a Talfiri bard named Verraketh Talember." I doubt he's the same as this Netherese fellow. —Archlords (talk) 03:50, October 10, 2012 (UTC)

There's only one Shadowking, and no evidence here for Telamont to go by that name, so I've deleted the redirect. -- BadCatMan (talk) 09:11, January 6, 2013 (UTC)

Actually, Larloch is called the "Shadow King" in Netheril: Empire of Magic. ~ Lhynard (talk) 21:24, June 17, 2016 (UTC)

If I remember correctly the Shadowking (Verraketh) was a kind of demon of Shar that also temped an harper in Crypt of the Shadowking. Telamont was only "Lord Shadow" and Larloch was sometime called the Shadow King. So a great confusion, probably was a too great name and many authors used without counsel.
