Tall Tales: A Ranger's Life was a book by ranger known as Amritar the Tall, published in the early 14th century DR.[2][1]

This autobiographical and nostalgic tome was published in the Year of the Striking Hawk, 1326 DR[2] and a copy was kept in the great fortress-library of Candlekeep as of the Year of Wild Magic, 1372 DR.[1]
