- In 1374 DR, the Merchant's League of Baldur's Gate invested in a large caravan of weapons and armor destined for Hillsfar, in direct competition with the Iron Throne.[1]
- In 1385 DR, Mystra is assassinated by Cyric and Shar, triggering the Spellplague.[2][3]
