The Temple of the Half-Moon was the sole temple in Elmwood, dedicated to Selûne[1] and to a lesser degree other deities of light.[2]

This temple was shaped like a cross and had a silvery coloration.[1]

This temple was chiefly staffed by Alamarayne Moonray.[1]
History[]
In 757 DR, the High Moonmistress of the temple Niree Swifthands was captured by forces from the Bright Lady's Tower and executed in Chancelgaunt for her membership in the New Moon Pact. An inscription commemorating her death was carved into the temple using both Thorass and Dethek scripts.[3]
When the forces of Zhentil Keep attempted to conquer Elmwood in the Year of Rogue Dragons, 1373 DR, they took special care to deface this temple.[2]
