The Temple of the Primordial was a temple found in Mount Hotenow that housed a cult of fire-worshiping beings that venerated the sleeping Dawn Titan Maegera.[1]
Location[]
It was found deep within the heart of Mount Hotenow, far beneath its caldera.[1]
Structure[]
The temple was a sprawling structure that utilized the natural formations found within the volcanic mountain and stone constructs, such as bridges that spanned deep chasms that led down to rivers of magma.[1]
History[]
The temple was constructed by Gommoth the Twisted some time after the eruption of Mount Hotenow in the Year of Knowledge Unearthed, 1451 DR. It remained in use by the cult of Maegera until the Year of the Ageless One, 1479 DR, when the Hero of the Sleeping Dragon Bridge was enlisted by the dwarves of the Hillborn expedition to stop Gommoth's schemes to reawaken the dormant fire primordial, and slay the mad giant.[1]
Inhabitants[]
Fire giant members of the cult dwelled within the temple, alongside other beings that shared an affinity for the element of fire, including fire archons, flamespikers, and magma brutes.[1]
