Thane of Westgate was a human wizard and an employee of Aurora's Emporium in the mid-to-late 14th century DR.[1]
Activities[]
Thane served as the master of the central warehouse for Aurora's Emporium and its teleportation delivery network, overseeing its logistics, accounting, and magic.[1] All the warehousemen reported to Thane.[2]
Personality[]
This was a role that suited him perfectly, thanks to his eye for detail. Otherwise, he was stuffy and studious, and he was anxious only during the annual relocation of operations to another city.[1]
Abilities[]
As a mage, he favored spells of conjuration and divination, and also those that enabled transportation, such as the teleport spells used for deliveries.[1]
History[]
Although young, Thane had been running the central warehouse for Aurora since around 1365 DR. By 1370 DR, Thane had become very rich. It seemed likely that after a few more years he would retire from the business to dedicate himself to his studies of little-known spells, using his earnings to buy a big library.[1]
