Thauntar was a warrior in the mid-13th century DR.[1]
Appearance & Possessions[]
He wore mismatched armor, with a rusty gauntlet, and had only one eye.[1]
History[]
During a conversation with Elminster in 1262 DR,[2][3][note 1] he related unto Elminster that the Simbul, while deadly, was highly selective and only ever slew spies and killers from Thay, rather than all mages, and that an embassy from a city in Chessenta was expected that evening.[1]
During a conversation with Nergal in 1372 DR, Elminster related unto Nergal that Thauntar had died, but been loved by Mystra in life.[1]
