The Bath House was a public bathing site located in the city of Zhentil Keep during the mid–14th century DR.[1]
Location[]
The Bath House was located in south Zhentil Keep in the western section of the Foreign Quarter along Mace Way, Slingshot Way, and Teshwave Street.[2][3]
Description[]
The ornate structure was made from marble and constructed over a natural hot spring.[1]
Interior[]
The Bath House had both large communal pools and smaller private pools to use.[1]
Activities[]
Chilled wine was available to any bathers who did not wish to get too hot. Massages were available as well for a completely relaxing experience. Admission to the Bath House cost 5 gp for a communal pool and 7 gp plus 5 sp for a private pool. Massages were 2 gp. Each pool session lasted for two hours and a massage was fifteen minutes.[1]
Inhabitants[]
The Bath House was owned by a Calishite wizard named Valourish in the Year of the Gauntlet, 1369 DR.[1]
Defenses[]
A quartet of eunuch warriors armed with enchanted scimitars kept guard within the Bath House.[1]
