The Gilded Unicorn was a type of stage performance called "grand play", popularized in Athkatla of Amn in the late 14th century DR.[1]
History[]
By the late 14th century DR, The Gilded Unicorn was considered recently famous play. The performance was penned by Raulivan Torthtra, a young playwright from the city of Zazesspur in Tethyr who had a knack for capturing realistic dialogue in his work. This "grand play" was in the repertoire of the famous The Crown Aflame theater in Athkatla's Temple District.[1]
