The Glory of the Dragon was a history book that recorded the glowing history of King Azoun Obarskyr IV of Cormyr.[1]

The Glory of the Dragon was published sometime in the Year of the Unstrung Harp, 1371 DR, postmortem, or sometime before the monarch 's death. The book's author was Danchas the Scribe. A copy of the book found home in the private library of Taeros Hawkwinter of Waterdeep, in the noble family, estate – the Hawkwinter House. The nobleman treasured the tales of grand adventures and dazzling heroes.[1]
