Theymarsh was a port town on the Lake of Steam, part of the Border Kingdoms region of Faerûn.[4]
Geography[]
Theymarsh stood on the Strait of Storms, with the town of Suldolphor across from it. The Strait of Storms connected the Lake of Steam to the north with the Shining Sea to the south.[4] Theymarsh's closest neighbor to the south was the town of Yallasch, connected to Theymarsh by a minor road. The Neth Stand forest was immediately to the southeast from Theymarsh.[5]
Trade[]
Theymarsh was known in the north for its delicate blown and worked glass – notably bird figurines.[2] Another export of note was a quality ale – a fine dark lager.[1] Other major industries in Theymarsh were logging, mining, and fishing.[3]
History[]
As of the Year of the Tankard, 1370 DR, a pirate vessel of the first mate Kalil yi Tulmon of the Rundeen regularly attacked merchant ships departing ports of Almraiven, Suldophor, and Theymarsh. The attacks were cruel and ruthless, leaving many sailors dismembered.[6]
