The Throne of the Coronal was the throne of the Coronal of Myth Drannor.[1]
Description[]
The throne was high-arched and floated above the circular, glowing Pool of Remembrance.[1]
Powers[]
The Throne itself hovered over the Pool of Remembrance on its own power.[1] It had a number of hidden buttons set in one of its arms that triggered special functions, such as the lightshock wave, which unleashed a staggering white brilliance and made everyone in the room stagger away.[2]
The Throne of the Coronal had a number of powers, which could be called upon by the mantle of the Coronal when they were close by.[3] Such powers included the ability to bar any liquid or vapor, from rain to green dragon's breath, from anywhere within a small area centered on the throne or mantle, and a few evocation spells such as flame strike.[4]
History[]
In the Year of the Hippogriff's Folly, 241 DR, Coronal Eltargrim Irithyl was forced to call upon the lightshock wave to quell the noise in the chamber. It also blocked a dagger thrown at him.[2]
