Tojanidas were snapping turtle-like creatures that originated in the Elemental Plane of Water.[1] They swam in the coastal waters of the Great Sea and off the coast of Aglarond, as well as in Lake Halruaa and Lake Ashane.[2][3]

A tojanida was recruited by Gimlet Watersprecht as a lookout for a portal linking Lantan and the Pirate Isles.[4]
