Tolodine was a Netherese arcanist who developed several wind-, fog-, and cloud-based spells.[1]
Description[]
This proficient arcanist was an astute student of Sadebreth, the priest-arcanist of Mystryl. Unlike his mentor, Tolodine specialized in inventive spells.[1]
History[]
Tolodine was born in 1444 NY (−2415 DR). The inventor concentrated on developing spells from the winds, though the spells he developed were simpler to formulate than those of his tutor, Sadebreth.[1] Tolodine developed six spells from 1473 NY (−2386 DR) to 1500 NY (−2359 DR); these would become known as gust of wind, wind wall, cloudkill, death fog, stinking cloud, and finally, the epic Tolodine's killing wind.[2] He lived a short life compared to his mentor, and passed away from old age in 1501 NY (−2358 DR).[1]
