About a month after the population of Stag Falls had fled for the nearby caves because of the sudden insanity of Baron Vilhelm von Stag Falls, who had been turned into an undead thrall by Romanisk Vlaensk, an ancient wizard and vampire, Tommy Fletcher pursued a little lamb that fell off a cliff towards a location close to town. There, Tommy himself fell off a cliff, getting a life-threatening, compound fracture. He was fortunately spotted by adventurers sent from Ravens Bluff, to which taxes were owed by Stag Falls but had been disrupted by the commotion. Young Fletcher helped the adventurers, leading them to the caves where the population had hid away,[1] after they healed him.[2]
