Touch of idiocy was a spell that caused the target's mental faculties to deteriorate.[1]
Effects[]
On touching the living target, the target's mental faculties temporarily deteriorated. During this time, the target could not recall facts as well as he or she usually could do, was not as insightful into matters as normally, and did not have a strong force of personality as usual. It could also cause the temporary loss of spellcasting capacities.[1]
The dangerous part of this spell was that it was impossible to resist. The user merely needed to touch the victim.[1]
Components[]
The spell required only somatic and verbal components.[1]
