Traxigor was an archmage polymorphed into an otter during the late 15th century DR. His stone tower floated above the Sea of Swords.[1]
Relationships[]
He was an acquaintance of the archmage Sylvira Savikas. Traxigor took care of the hollyphant Lulu for her.[1]
History[]
At one point, Traxigor accidentally polymorphed himself into an otter but eventually decided he preferred his new body to the old one and made his condition permanent with a wish spell.[1]
In the Year of Three Ships Sailing, 1492 DR,[note 1] Sylvira asked Traxigor's help to send an adventuring party to Avernus and he agreed.[1]

Notes[]
- ↑ Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus is set in 1492 DR per the "Baldur's Gate Gazetteer" section (p. 159) and a clarification from the adventure's lead writer. Baldur's Gate III, which is a direct sequel to Descent into Avernus set immediately after its events, is also set in 1492 DR. In an apparent error, pages 7 and 47 of Descent into Avernus describes certain events as occurring "fifty years" after 1444 DR (1494 DR).
