- The Singing Sword tavern in Waterdeep was well known for serving turtle soup on a daily basis within upside-down turtle shells.[1]

- Alustriel Silverhand had such a great fondness for this dish that she created the turtle soup spell so that she could always have some on hand.[4][5] Though the rest of the Seven Sisters did not share her fondness for the dish.[4]
