Two-D'lusion was a minor illusion cantrip that acolyte illusionists could learn.[4][5][6] It was a very limited version of phantasmal force in most respects and created a flat scene of anything the caster could imagine and describe.[1][2][3]

Effects[]

This cantrip had a range of 30 feet (9.1 meters)[4][5][6] and could generate a flat image that had to fit inside four 10‑foot (3‑meter) cubes in any contiguous orientation.[1][2][3] The two-dimensional illusion lasted for as long as the caster maintained concentration on the spell. It did not generate any auditory or olfactory effects and did not radiate any heat or cold.[7][8][9] The cantrip was dispelled if it was touched by anyone other than the caster. It could also be canceled by dispel illusion or dispel magic. In addition, if the flat image was viewed from an angle more than 45° away from the perpendicular axis, its nature was completely obvious. The illusion was invisible from the back and sides.[1][2][3]

Components[]

This cantrip required verbal and somatic components to cast. The caster moved a closed hand in a circle while speaking a phrase that described the desired effect.[1][2][3]
