Tyrluk (pronounced: /ˈtɪərluːk/ TEER-luke[5]) was a small village at the base of the Storm Horn Mountains in Cormyr.[2][6]
History[]
In the Year of the Banner, 1368 DR, Tyrluk, along with Espar, Eveningstar, and Waymoot, was plagued by rogue dragons.[7]
In Tarsakh of the Year of the Tankard, 1370 DR, Tyrluk was sacked at the beginning of the Goblin War. By the end of the war all that was left was the smithy and the Old Man's Face inn, and they were both left in poor condition.[4]
In the late 15th century DR, the Old Man's Face was one of the locations where Oriphaun Huntsilver hid a piece of one of the Nether Scrolls. Mercenary forces tracked the piece to the inn led by the Netherese wizard Tarys, who were confronted by adventurers also seeking the piece on the behalf of the Harpers.[8]
