Ukolo was an Azuposi settlement in the Pasocada Basin in Maztica. Despite its small size (its population was about 300), it was nonetheless important, for it was the center of Azuposi turquoise mining. Raw turquoise was exported from Ukolo to other, larger settlement were it was carved into jewelry and such.[1]
