Umukek[note 1] was the northernmost named island in Faerûn.[1]
Geography[]
Umukek was located to the northwest of the Ice Peak, and to the west of the Sea of Moving Ice. Thus, the island was located at a similar latitude to the Reghed Glacier.[1]
History[]
Between circa −1000 and −500 DR, the Illuskans of Ruathym colonized Umukek, and other islands, such as Tuern.[2]
Inhabitants[]
Though Northmen once colonized the isle, there were no known inhabitants of Umukek by the 14th century DR.[2]
