Undead hunters were paladins who trained to be especially effective against undead opponents, albeit at the cost of neglecting their healing capabilities.[1]
Abilities[]
These warriors learned to more effectively target, damage, and defend against undead creatures. They were immune to hold person-like effects and their experience in battle could not be affected by the powers of other creatures.[1]
Because of their training regiment, they could not lay on healing hands.[1]
They could turn undead like clerics, but with less power. With training, they could cast protection from evil and detect evil as well as other divine spells.[1]
The most powerful undead hunters could use a myriad of martial techniques, along with war cries and could even summon a deva for aid in battle.[1][2]
